New Zealand Wedding Vendor Awards
Purpose
The New Zealand Wedding Vendor Awards (NZWVA) is dedicated to recognising exceptional wedding vendors and their invaluable contributions to the NZ wedding industry. NZWVA aims to create an opportunity for all vendors to be celebrated. With a transparent nomination process and a robust voting system, these illustrious awards provide a national platform that embraces and uplifts vendors from all ethnicities and backgrounds, reflecting the diversity of Aotearoa. By highlighting excellence across both the North & South Islands, NZWVA ensures fair representation and acknowledgment of the distinguished talent that shapes New Zealand’s wedding landscape through the input of wedding couples, wedding guests, fellow vendors, family, friends and wedding industry experts.
Showcase
The NZWVA Showcase provides a professional and elegant environment for NZ's top wedding vendors from all over the country to exhibit their products and services of the highest quality to couples planning their exciting new chapter. The Showcase is currently held over four hours, and promotes a unique opportunity for networking amongst vendors in attendance and an opportunity for vendors to inspire and assist couples planning their dream wedding.
Gala
The Awards Gala is a premier event designed to celebrate the creativity and dedication of wedding professionals across Aotearoa. Finalists and their support network of family, friends and colleagues are invited to attend an evening all about them with the opportunity to witness the celebration of NZ's very best. An elegant evening fused with fun, laughter, entertainment, delicious cuisine, dancing and of course recognition.
All award winners are announced and recognized at the event.
Awards Process

Voting/Winners
Award winners are determined by the total number of votes received. A weighted voting system is in place where votes cast by wedding couples who have/had their wedding between April 1st, 2025 and 31st March 2026 are worth 5 votes per bride or groom (with up to 10 votes possible per couple). All other votes received are worth 1 vote.
